Terms of Service

I. General Terms

When commissioning Mango please keep in mind:
Follow the rules set out, MissMango has the right to decline any commission/work if rules are not followed.

So what will Mango draw?

Please refer to V.copyright infringement, for information on commercial licensing and relevant fees regarding it if this interests you. (this is if you plan to get the commission manufacturered eg. Pin designs, shirts charms etc for your company.

II. Payment

⭐All commission payments must be made 50% upfront to save your spot. And in full before commencement of work or by the date included in the invoice. Full payment up front is preferred to save you time!⭐Currency is always displayed in USD.⭐Only Card is accepted for payment. However, Square invoice allows the client to pay with a card securely throught the square system.
All payments must be made with a valid card and have a 1.9% processing fee for card. PAYPAL can be organised but a fee will be incurred for card processing as above.If any of the terms of service are breached for any reason resulting in termination of the commission, The artist is entitled to keep the 50% non-refundable deposit to cover time and effort for any work completed/commenced.please see VI. Cancellation /refund policy for information about cancelling commissions/refunds and chargebacks for work.

III. Process

Work in progress will be given to customers regularly through major stages.
Examples, sketches, lines, flat colors.Please note. Any major changes after the sketch stage may incur a fee. (Major changed exampleas are complete pose changes, outfit changes or character changes)My turnaround times are as follows:
Icons: 3-7 days
⭐Digital commissions: up to 2 weeks+ depending on physical difficulty and schedule re: conventions, fulltime work ect. you will always be first to know if a change occurs!
⭐Physical works: A Month+Please note this is purely depending on the level of detail, skill, and style (eg, flat colours vs completely painted pieces) needed to execute the work.
Other factors such as life can occasionally get in the way, please be patient and contact me if you have any concerns. I will notify you ASAP if any problems arise.

IV. Customer Satisfaction

I aim to please and make you the Client as happy as possible!However, as stated above any major changes after the sketching stage (digital) and rough process/digital mock-up (physical) may incur an additional fee.This could include but is not limited too, outfit changes, pose changes, complete look changes. Anything that means the piece must be re-drafted dramatically.To avoid this, please be as clear and precise as possible when ordering, eg. clear and concise references and descriptions. The more the better!

V. Copyright / Usage Policy

I, the artist, hold every right to the produced artwork, not the commissioner/Client (personal use).
Therefore I may use the copyrighted artwork for:Please note this is for the artwork only, NOT the charcaters involved.

The Commissioner/Client is allowed to;

⭐Use copyrighted work/content produced by the artist for personal use only unless agreed to otherwise. (comercial license, such as merch) eg, print, put on your socials, use as art for characters etc...⭐you are more than welcome to print the art(for yourself or your friends), post the art (with credit), and enjoy! (your character's rights are still yours of course!)⭐If you break copyright in any way, all rights to the piece will be retracted and you will be refused any future commissions from the artist.

What is considered copyright infringement?

⭐ Reproduction/using the copyrighted material(artwork) commercially (making money from the work in any way) without a comercial license from the artist.
⭐ Taking credit for the creation of the artwork produced by an artist.
⭐Removing any watermarking or signatures
⭐Altering the artwork without the artists, (MissMango) clear given consent. This includes tracing, heavily referencing, or repurposing the image or piece in any way. (feel free to do this for personal works commissioned, for comercial works this applies)
⭐Inputting Artisats work into AI training. under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. you may NOT train AI on MissMangos works.

Purchase of Commercial rights

Commercial rights are needed for works intended to be used as, but not limited to; T-shirt designs, logos, channel/podcast image covers, album covers, Prints, stickers, Enamel pin designs, book covers, brand promotion etc. that i as the artist draw FOR you.Credit is still needed for works, even if altered or edited in any way. (whether that be through fine-print,credit text, or other means)The commercial fee is the original price plus an additional 300%+ (minimum) to cover commercial fees, this can vary on price depending on what type of commission eg. stickers vs T-shirts have diofferent comercial licenses.
(additional fee is only applied if you intend to sell items with the artwork included and is not applied to private use works)

VI. Cancellation / Refund Policy

I, the artist (MissMango) have the right at any time for any reason to cancel and refund the money for a commission at any time.

You have no right as the client to cancel or demand a refund from the artist after full payment has been received under any circumstances once the work for the service has commenced. If the money has not been sent and work has not been commenced the client has the right to cancel the commission at any time.If partial or full work of the commission is completed and the artist decides to cancel the commission for any reason, as stated above, a 50% non-refundable deposit will be withheld to cover my time and effort.
Please be sure you want to commission me 100% before committing as it will waste everyone's time otherwise.Things that may have a commission cancelled are but NOT limited to: sexism, stalking, racism, abusive behavior, homophobia etc.

How to order:
Please email me at [email protected] OR instagram.1. Contact me and ask for a slot, once accepted you will be sent an invoice to pay though Square My online store platform.
(this will lock your slot in and allow you to pay through card via secure invoice through my site)2. Send as many detailed referances and info of the work you want done. eg. pose refs, colour pallets, descriptions on facial expressions ect. (this helps me do the best for you! and saves you on revisions!)3. Wait to recieve the sketch, once recieved you have two free revisions.
so please let me know what to revise all at once to save further fees, I want your piece to be the best it can be but going back and fourth can waste money and time on both parts! make sure you know what you want!4. Wait patiently to recieve your piece. depending on commission type time frame can be anywhere from a week to upwards of a month. please keep this in mind,
rush orders will be charged a rush fee.NOTE: please read my TOS.
I have all right to refuse a comission or cancel and refund

you must provide an email to recieve artworks. commissions are NOT including a commercial license fee, you may not use the work to profit in anyway. if you want to use the work for comercial use an aditional fee will be charged.
